Remodels, renovations, and additions

Does your existing heating system look like this?

Does your existing heating system look like this?

If your existing heating system is old and inefficient it is wasting heat and costing you money. It may also be creating potentially serious health problems inside your home.

Leaky ductwork can allow dust and chemicals into your air circulation system. Mice and other pests can set up house inside your heating system. Cracked heat exchangers or backdrafting appliances can leak combustion gases like carbon monoxide directly into the air you breath.

If you’re concerned about any of these issues it’s time to call Montana Energy Services.

Furnace and Boiler Replacement Contractors

Montana Energy Services will gladly and efficiently remove your old, leaky, groaning, wasteful monster of a furnace (or boiler) and replace it with a super-clean, super-efficient, and quiet new model from one of the world’s most respected and trusted manufacturers.

We’re not your average heating contractors

Ground Source Heat Pumps

Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs) are considered by many to be the Rolls Royces of heating systems. Like the cars, they are not for everyone and they do tend to be expensive. If it’s a Geothermal Heat Pump system that you need, we are one of the most experienced contractors around at designing, sizing, and installing these systems. In general we encourage our customers to look first at ways that they can reduce their energy use by upgrading the insulation, air-sealing, and windows of their homes. Often this results in an energy efficient home which does not require a GSHP system. However, if a Ground Source Heat Pump makes sense for their home and their site, we look carefully at the type and size system that is required and try to ensure that the system is correctly sized. Too big means too expensive to install and too small means it won’t meet the heating and/or cooling loads. Montana Energy Services staff have been installers of GSHP for over twenty years and we have plenty of experience with maintaining these systems as well.
